# Terms of Service _Effective: August 30, 2026_ _Last Updated: August 30, 2026_ ## 1. Agreement These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Slate & Signal LLC ("ObeyMe", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the ObeyMe app or obeymeapp.com, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. ## 2. You must be 18 or over ObeyMe is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old, and you confirm your age before you see any content in the app. If we learn that a user is under 18 we will terminate the account and delete its data. ## 3. What ObeyMe is ObeyMe is a private app for exactly two consenting adults who want structure in their dynamic: defined roles, agreed rules, daily check-ins, shared tasks and rituals, optional chastity and intimacy tracking, and a private messaging channel. It is intended for consensual adult arrangements of any shape. Married, partnered, long distance, or an arrangement entirely your own. It is not a dating service, there is no public feed, no discovery, and no way for strangers to contact you. **ObeyMe is a tool for organising something you and your partner have already agreed between yourselves. It is not therapy, medical advice, or a substitute for either.** ## 4. Your account You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at admin@obeymeapp.com if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account, and you may not share your account or let anyone else use it. ## 5. Pairing ObeyMe connects exactly two accounts through a private invite code. Only share your invite code with the person you intend to pair with. Once paired, the content you create inside that partnership is visible to your partner, and depending on the roles and permissions you have agreed, they may be able to assign tasks, set rules, and see your responses and history. Either of you may end the partnership at any time. ## 6. Consent, safety, and your right to stop This is the part that matters most, so we will be direct about it. - **Everything is opt-in.** No feature obliges you to do anything offline. Agreeing to something inside ObeyMe is not a contract we enforce, and nothing in the app overrides your right to change your mind. - **Everything is revocable.** Roles can be swapped, rules edited, permissions changed, and the partnership reset or ended by either person at any time, without needing the other's approval. - **You can always leave.** Ending a partnership or deleting your account is available to you at any moment, from inside the app. - **Safety mode** lets either partner pause the dynamic immediately. - **Set boundaries and a safe word before you use the app for anything.** Check in with each other often. **Consent that is coerced is not consent.** If you feel pressured, unsafe, or unable to say no, stop using the service and seek support. In an emergency contact your local emergency services. In the US, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is available on 1-800-799-7233. ## 7. Acceptable use You agree to: - engage only in consensual activity with a willing adult partner - respect the limits and boundaries you have both agreed - comply with the laws that apply where you are - keep content private to your partnership unless you both agree otherwise ## 8. Prohibited You must not: - involve anyone under 18 in any way - use the service for anything non-consensual, coercive, or abusive - upload content involving anyone other than you and your partner without their consent - share, publish, or distribute your partner's content without their explicit permission - harass, threaten, blackmail, or extort anyone - break any applicable law - attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service - resell or commercialise access to the app Breaking these rules can get your account suspended or terminated immediately. ## 9. Your content **You keep ownership of everything you create in ObeyMe.** You grant us only the limited licence we need to run the service: to store your content, encrypt it, back it up, and display it to you and your paired partner. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine learning models. You are responsible for what you upload, and you confirm you have the right to upload it. ## 10. Reporting, blocking, and moderation You can report a user or a message and block another user from inside the app. Reports go to our team, and we aim to review and act on them within 24 hours. We may remove content, suspend an account, or terminate it where our Terms have been broken. Report anything urgent to **admin@obeymeapp.com**. ## 11. Subscriptions and billing ObeyMe is free to download. Some features require ObeyMe+ , available as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time purchase: - **ObeyMe+ Monthly** — billed monthly - **ObeyMe+ Yearly** — billed annually - **ObeyMe+ Lifetime** — a single one-time payment, not a subscription **One subscription covers the pairing, not the person.** When one partner subscribes, both accounts in the partnership get full access. Current prices are shown in the app before you purchase and may vary by region. For auto-renewing subscriptions: - Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. - **Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.** - Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price of the plan you selected. - **You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.** - Any unused part of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription. **Refunds are handled by Apple** under the App Store terms, not by us. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you are in. If your subscription ends, your account and content remain, but premium features stop working. ## 12. Availability and changes ObeyMe is under active development. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may change pricing for future billing periods with notice. We aim for reliability but do not promise uninterrupted service. ## 13. Termination You can stop using ObeyMe and delete your account from inside the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing would create risk for other users or for us. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why. ## 14. Disclaimers **The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind**, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that data will never be lost. **ObeyMe does not supervise, verify, or mediate what happens between you and your partner**, online or offline. You are both adults making your own decisions. ## 15. Limitation of liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate & Signal LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, disputes between partners, or physical or emotional harm arising from activity you agree to with another person. **Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.** Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. ## 16. Indemnity You agree to indemnify Slate & Signal LLC against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms. ## 17. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and we each consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of your local mandatory laws. ## 18. Apple Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to provide support for ObeyMe. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. ## 19. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new date, and for significant changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use ObeyMe after that means you accept the new Terms. ## 20.
